Great pizza. I live in Cedar rapids but work in Marion. Every time i get a short lunch break, this is my go to place. The pizza slices are always ready, hot, and delicious. The reason i gave it a 4 is because seating is limited.

Some of the freshest, best tasting pizza around. Great menu to choose from. Unique decor. Friendly staff. Quaint corner pizza place. Just had the Zookie for the first time for dessert. Warm brownie topped with vanilla ice cream covered with chocolate syrup and whip cream. Mmmm, Yummy.

Excellant Chicago Pizza. We called ahead to cut down the wait time. Courteous staff. If we should not have called, The person who answered the phone should tell us to wait until we got there. I have never heard a pizza place saying do not call ahead of time. We are never going back. How embrassing to be told this on a review. We were told that it helped to call ahead especially during lunch time after we arrived. You better relay that information to your staff.

As always my favorite kind of expensive pizza. It is made so unique compared to other pizza places in the area. Pretty pricey though so only a once in a blue moon kind of thing (once a year)

If it was acceptable to eat a Zookie every day and not gain weight, I would put all of my money towards Zookies!! Such a great pizza place featuring tons of combinations - we’ve never left hungry!

The environment is great, and this is one of the best sit down pizza joints around, if your going to check them out make sure you try the Zookie

The pizza is phenomenal! Get there early to get a seat. Otherwise you might have to wait in line outside.

Zoey's is an institution! Absolutely love the food and the service team. Friendly, prompt, food is served hot and the team will box up what you want to take home. I don't know if I can eat any other pizza -- I'm serious. Try the deep dish, grab a cold beer. Delish.

The taco pizza is good. Not fantastic, but good. The newzago crust is really the best part. It's a really interesting take on Chicago style. Prices are a little high, but I'd be back.

Delucious food and cold drinks! One person ordered the calzone. Not only was it delicious, but huge; enough for at least two people to share. We ordered the Taco pizza on the specialty thin crust and it was amazing!! Very charming place with vintage style artwork! We loved it and will consider revisiting when in the area!

Goes without saying Zoey's is one of the best of not the best pizza places in the city. For me it's neck and neck with Need. It all depends on what kind you like. The Chicago style here is the absolute best around!

Want a hearty meal with a nice variety of hard and soft drinks? This is a great place. Want to keep the toppings off your shirt? Forget it.

Had been around 15 yrs since I had last been there, and was the first time for my daughter. Orderred a Chicago style which was just as good as I remembered. My daughter asked why I had kept her from this her entire life. Great stuff, but get there early. Limited seating.

Our favorite sit-down pizza place for ANY special occasion. It can be a little pricey for every day, but always worth it when we go. We love both the thin crust and the standard crust. The taco is our favorite. Try to Deep dish if that's your thing, it's good too, but it does take longer to cook. The restaurant is small, so be prepared to wait for a table, especially on weekends. The Zookie is highly recommended, but we always order cheesy bread and rarely have room for dessert.

When we want a true treat, we order Zoey's. Our pizza favorites are "The Zoey" or the Taco pizza. Go during an off time, because the lines can get long, but Zoey's pizza is worth the wait. We have several bars uptown that allow you to bring food in. Sometimes we go to the Snug and order Zoey's to go. It's all within a block walking distance.

1.5 hour wait for an “everything” deep dish pizza. Was basically a loaf of bread with some sauce. Sparse ingredients, bland and $32. And it was not even cut. Terrible first impression

First and last time I will buy here. I have ordered dip dish in other pizzerias. But God this time I got a pasta pizza bowl messy with sauce why on earth would you put sauce on top. Almost 32$ never will I stop by again thanks but not my taste. I’ll stick with Pizza Hut and papá johns

I would recommend staying far away from this amazing dessert if you don't want to become addicted. Holy moley it was life changing. Haven't had the pizza yet, but my server and zookie get 5 stars.

It was a long time coming to eat here. I was not disappointed at all. I had a Medium sized "Zoey" pizza and it was delicious!! I see why people are lined up outside to eat here sometimes when passing by. The Restaurant is small inside but packs a big punch on the food. The service was very nice and on time. Always delicious and worth the wait if there is one. Great Chicago and New York pizza. Don't forget to try the zookie. Awesome dessert of a big fresh baked cookie covered in ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate.

First time there. The wait was 20 min...but we got in in about 10. Full house. We were told there was going to be a wait because we ordered a pan Chicago Style. We had the Zoey. The wait was not bad at all. My only complaint would be that the crust seemed TOO hard. I have had this style of pizza at a different restaurant and I thought this crust hard crunchy. Wondered if someone with dentures would have a hard time enjoying it. We had three pieces left out our medium (will feed three), we ate it the next day for lunch. Heated up in 15 min by oven beautifully. Seasoning on this pizza was so good. Would I return? Oh yeah. Staff was friendly as well.

I brought in two hockey players who are from New York and New Jersey for a Chicago deep dish and a Zookie. They said the pizza was fantastic, the Zookie amazing and the service top notch!

A tradition in Marion! The best in traditional deep dish or thin crust. The Zookie dessert is a must. No really, don't skip the dessert.

this place is a staple of Marion, this is the pizza place you bring your family that you actually like. they make a good pie a premium pie. and they charge for it, the pizza by the slice deal at lunch is probably the best way to try the pizza because then you get a sense of the style. sauce is good. Deep dish is a Chicago style. Minus a point purely on price. I'm not saying Pizza should be at a Little Caesars price point, I'm just saying in no world should a medium 3 topping Pizza in Iowa cost more than 25. It is good tho.

Best Pizza in Marion, Cedar Rapids and maybe all of Iowa. If they had little more seating, doubt it would hurt their business. Pizza is outstanding

We've heard of Zoey's since we've moved to Marion, a few years ago, just haven't ordered until now. We ordered two new York style pizzas, to go. Brought them home to find they must have switched pizzas because one of the pizzas was a Chicago style. We called and the issue was resolved, and we got to keep the Chicago pizza. Once we started to dig in, however, we realized the pizza wasn't cut, which wasn't the big of a deal considering how good the pizza was. I, personally was okay with the mix up because we were able to try the Chicago style. Seriously guys, this pizza is amazing! Although the experience wasn't all good, the pizza was, and we will definitely be back.

My favorite pizza anywhere. I get the sausage and pepperoni New York. I know this is a plain order, but it is so good I cannot order anything else. The service is always good too. The only downside is having to wait to eat, but it is worth it. I have done takeout a couple of times too, great experience there as well. If you live near Cedar Rapids, this is a must try.

If you are going to call it Chicago Style Pizza, then you should do your research and put the proper ingredients on the pizza. The sausage you put on is NOT Chicago Style. Chunk Sausage is what you should be putting on instead. That would make the Pizza that much better. With all the Servers you have in the place. Service was not good at all. I was there before your rush hour. Had a hard time to get someone to refill our glasses or box up our leftovers to take home.

Zoey's is only a local staple because it was the first pizza joint in the area. Mediocre. The other two local pizza places are better.
